As part of its support for the development of dispensing professionals across Australia and New Zealand, Specsavers has signed on as a platinum sponsor for the Association of Dispensing Opticians of New Zealand’s (ADONZ) annual conference and is offering funding for optical dispensing students wishing to attend.
Held in Auckland from 26 to 28 October 2018 at the Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre, the ADONZ Conference is the only event of its kind specifically for dispensing opticians in New Zealand. The conference is open to all dispensing opticians and features 14 sessions presented by high-level speakers, with CPD points available throughout the weekend.
To support students seeking to extend their dispensing knowledge, Specsavers is sponsoring a limited number of Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing students to attend the conference. Funds of up to $1,000 per student will be allocated to cover the cost of registration and travel.
