DEADLINE EXTENDED – Entries close Friday, 8 September 2017
Are you an optometrist who has come across a case with intriguing pathology or surprising outcomes? Or a qualified dispenser who has encountered an interesting dispensing issue? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with your peers? If this sounds like you, enter your case study in the 2017 ProFile Case Study Competition for your chance to win!
To celebrate the launch of Specsavers’ in-house journal ProFile online, optometrists and qualified dispensers across Australia and New Zealand (both Specsavers and non-Specsavers) are invited to share their knowledge for a chance to win one of two grand prizes: ticket, flights and accommodation to the 2018 Specsavers Clinical Conference (optometry category) or Specsavers Dispensing Conference (dispensing category).
More than 600 delegates have already registered for this year’s SCC and over 430 recently attended the inaugural SDC – and next year’s events promise to be even bigger and better.
SCC and SDC offer an unrivalled opportunity to hear from world-class experts, participate in practical workshops, and network with a wide range of optical professionals. You will learn about the latest developments and technology in optometry and dispensing, expand and enhance your professional knowledge, and accrue CPD and CD points along the way.
Five runner-up competition winners will also receive a $200 gift card that they can use to treat themselves at either a Coles Group or Myer store (AU) or Farmers (NZ) store.
All winners will have their submissions published in ProFile.
Entries will be judged by key members of Specsavers’ professional teams:
- Steve O’Leary, Director of Product and Dispensing Advancement
- Richard Couch, Head of Dispensing Advancement
- Dr Ben Ashby, Head of Optometry
- Sophie Stephan, Graduate Optometry Development Manager
- Jeena Tan, Optometry Development Consultant.
The competition deadline has been extended and entries will now close on Friday, 8 September 2017. For full terms and conditions and to enter, visit the ProFile Case Study Competition page.
