The 6th annual Specsavers Clinical Conference – better known as the SCC – took place in Melbourne in the first weekend of September, attended by more than 650 delegates, including many non-Specsavers optometrists.
A Saturday half-day program saw a practical look at OCT best practice, geared towards glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, while the Sunday saw a series of seven one-hour lectures from some of the best-known ophthalmologists.

The 7th SCC will take place, once again, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with dates likely to be Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September 2018.
