Specsavers Audiology has expanded into South Australia, launching in the suburbs of Thebarton and West Lakes west of Adelaide at the end of June.

Audiology Partner Michael Feetham is operating out of the Specsavers store in the Brickworks Marketplace in Thebarton, along with the Specsavers located in the West Lakes Westfield.

With the opening of the South Australian stores, Specsavers is now operating out of five states – with Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia already boasting stores, along with the ACT.

Michael’s audiology business launch was attended by the Mayor of the City of Charles Sturt, Councillor Angela Evans, along with optical store partners Leah Beeby and Samar Sammour from Thebarton and Liddean McKernan and Charlene Panayiotou from West Lakes, as well as family, friends and representatives from Specsavers Audiology.

Specsavers Audiology Executive Director Darrel Magna said he was excited for the rollout of audiology businesses across South Australia.

“With Michael on board, this is just the beginning for us,” he said. “We’re already having conversations with audiologists interested in partnering with us to launch their businesses across Adelaide and throughout regional South Australia.

“We’re feeling very positive about the future of audiology in the state and we’re now almost a year into launching audiology in Australia and are operating out of 34 businesses across the country.”
