Last week, more than 30 Specsavers Australia Support Office employees gathered on site in Port Melbourne to participate in an interactive painting workshop hosted by the team at Cork & Canvas – Australia’s First Paint & Sip Studio.
Artistically inclined team members and even those not-so-artistically inclined enjoyed a night of painting, party snacks, drinks and pizza – all while being coached by a small team of talented Cork & Canvas instructors.
The Specsavers Social Committee is responsible for organising events and activities such as Cork & Canvas – with past events ranging from Barefoot Bowls, Night at NGV, Book Club, Run For the Kids and Healthy Breakfast Party.
The Social Committee is a fully-funded benefit available to all Specsavers Support Office employees. Each social and cultural event encourages fun, laughter and social connectedness, which all contribute to making sure Specsavers is the place to work.
