Glaucoma NZ Announces Professional Symposium 2022 – Beyond Pressure

NZ optometrists can look forward to the 2022 Glaucoma NZ Professional Symposium, aptly named ‘Beyond Pressure’.

With a packed agenda of rapid-fire presentations on a wide range of glaucoma topics including Glaucoma Diagnosis, Advances in Technology and Challenging Cases, optometrists can also earn CPD points for attending.

The hybrid event will be held both online and at the Ellerslie Event Centre, Green Lane Auckland on Sunday 14th August 2022 from 9am – 5pm.

Speakers from both ophthalmology and optometry will present and the Keynote speaker, Dr Ridia Lim MBBS MPH FRANZCO is a glaucoma specialist at Sydney Eye Hospital and a director of Hunter Street Eye Specialists in Sydney. She is the Vice Chair of ANZGS (Australian and New Zealand Glaucoma Society) and head of the glaucoma unit at Sydney Eye Hospital. She is on the Scientific Programme Executive Committee for RANZCO and is a past examiner for RANZCO. Dr Ridia will be discussing “Keto and glaucoma – is there a connection?”
