The ODOB accredited online program gives optometrists an opportunity to earn 12 CPD and 2 GPR credits as part of their ongoing professional registration requirements and focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.
The programme was compiled and prepared by Professor Helen Danesh-Meyer and Dr Hannah Kersten and features:
- 4 cases with reading included (8 CD pts)

- A peer-review session facilitated by a glaucoma specialist, ophthalmologist (2 GPR pts – optional)
Specsavers optometrists who tested the programme out already have praised the course, calling it “clinically relevant” and ‘absolutely excellent.”
Enrollments close on 31 October 2022 and costs $285 inc GST. By registering for the programme, you are also making a difference in the lives of your glaucoma patients who receive information and support from Glaucoma NZ.
