Specsavers Graduate Program

The Specsavers Graduate Program is a two-year development program for graduates or recently qualified optometrists that offers a combination of professional events, courses, and experiences designed specifically to enrich professional life.

Joint Venture Partnership

Pathway is Specsavers Australia & New Zealand’s joint venture partnership development program for experienced optical professionals. The intensive four-month program equips aspiring business owners with the knowledge and development they need to play a lead role in the future of Specsavers as joint venture partners.

CPD

My CPD Portal

The MyCPD portal is a virtual hub for optometrists that hosts live tracking of CPD hours and is home to a wide range of professional development resources and training. Currently, there are more than 50 CPD courses on the portal, covering a variety of topics including Glaucoma, AMD, Diabetes, Paediatrics, Refractive Error, Contact lenses, Anterior eye, Vitreoretinal and Posterior Eye.

OLEEP

Our Ophthalmologist Local Education and Engagement Program (OLEEP) isa collaboration between RANZCO and Specsavers, gives Specsavers optometrists the opportunity to attend a series of face-to-face CPD workshops delivered by local RANZCO ophthalmologists.

Specsavers Clinical Conference & SCC Online

Specsavers Clinical Conference (SCC) has become the highlight of the ANZ optometry professional development calendar.  In 2020, SCC went virtual for the first time, with 12 interactive live webinars, virtual fringe talks, and on-demand video, delivered over a three-month period. A fantastic professional networking event as well as a key opportunity for optometrists to gain Australian CPD and New Zealand CD points, SCC continues to provide professional development opportunities delivered by renowned experts in the field of ophthalmology.
