About the positions…
Specsavers Wydham Vale, Werribee, Waurn Ponds and Geelong are all seeking vibrant and energetic Graduate Optometrists to join their teams!
Specsavers Wyndham Vale have two fully equipped test rooms, and with a lower socio-economic demographic, pathology like diabetic retinopathy, keratoconus and uveitis is common in this practice. The mentor here has a strong interest in therapeutics.
Specsavers Werribee have a team of five full time Optometrists meaning clinical support is readily accessible at all times. Werribee is a patient focused practice, and pride themselves on delivering exceptional quality service to all customers. Werribee has a multicultural demographic seeing a diverse range of pathology.
Joining the Waurn Ponds/Belmont store will give you the opportunity to work across two stores with seven full time Optometrists, providing clinical support at all levels. Both stores boast experienced team members and an excellent team culture.
Joining the Specsavers Geelong team will give you the opportunity to work across three different stores, two in Geelong CBD and one in Colac, with a company car available when rostered on in Colac. They have highly trained and motivated teams with a mix of qualified dispensers, optical mechanics, optometry students and experienced optometrists. The mentors have a combined 56 years experience in clinical practice. The Ryrie Street store specialises in RGP fitting including semi-sclerals, hybrids, KC and OrthoK. Across all three stores you will be exposed to a wide variety of ocular pathology which allows you to actively use your therapeutics training.
