The safety of our team and our customers is always our highest priority, and as the Coronavirus pandemic continues, we are implementing a range of new health and safety measures, to ensure our optometrists and optical dispensers can deliver the best possible care to all customers and patients, under our open for care mode of operation.
A key measure has been the introduction of Perspex hygiene barriers in all our stores to provide additional protection for partners, optometrists, and customers.
The clear acrylic barriers are positioned between team members and customers provide an additional level of safety and comfort.
Barriers are now placed at all customer service points within the stores, including reception, dispense desks, and till podiums.
Barriers have been provided to all open for care stores, where our partners are currently providing in-store consultations and will be rolled out across all stores in Australia. The barriers will also be rolled out in our New Zealand practices once the stores reopen.
Our open for care teams are also implementing a range of additional practices to ensure ongoing customer and team safety, including appropriate social distancing, contactless delivery of glasses to customers and limiting the number of team members and customers in store, which enables us to remain safely open for care and continue providing valuable eye health services for all Australian communities.
