Specsavers Australia & New Zealand has released more than 200 new glasses as part of its Autumn / Winter 2019 eyewear collection, including an exclusive, limited edition range from Parisian design powerhouse KENZO.
Hyper-intense colour, bold prints and standout shapes underpin the globally-influenced, 22-strong KENZO eyewear range, which includes both prescription glasses and sunglasses.
“We’re thrilled to add another stylish brand to our expanding designer portfolio – even if only for a short while,” Specsavers Global Head of Design and Product Development Stig Hansen said. “KENZO’s unique aesthetic chimes perfectly with our own aspiration to see glasses wearers express their individuality through their specs.”
The latest seasonal release includes a new range from iconic pop princess and Specsavers designer, Kylie Minogue, which features a glamourous Clubmaster-inspired frame with a mottled red brow and copper detailing. British fashion brand Red or Dead will also unveil a cutting-edge collection of glasses featuring interchangeable arms, so that glasses wearers can swap and change their frame depending on their mood and personal style.
Other highlights include colourful collections from Australian designers Alex Perry and Collette Dinnigan, as well as a Specsavers range of frames with removable nose pads to ensure a comfortable and perfect fit option for those with lower nose bridges, higher cheekbones, and wider faces.
“Glasses wearers are becoming more and more daring when it comes to selecting their frames,” Stig commented. “This season it’s all about the attitude and confidence that glasses can bring out in the wearer. It is this desire for individual style that has led to a return of colour in our new season collections.”
