There’s only one week to go until the SCC Online 2020 series launches with our first live webinar.

Across the next four months, the series will include a range of virtual presentations, panel discussions and interactive webinars on topics ranging from including glaucoma diagnosis and co-management, diabetic retinopathy screening, KeepSight updates and more, delivering educational content tailored for clinical optometry practice – with a strong supply of therapeutics points.

Each SCC Online Series event will be eligible for both Australian CPD Points and New Zealand CD and General Points.

Our first live webinar will feature respected opthalmologist Dr Aanchal Gupta, who will present an interactive session using multiple case studies of patients with combined corneal disease and cataract, with a particular emphasis on what refractive outcomes to counsel patients on who are facing cataract surgery. In particular those needing correction of astigmatism.

Dr Gupta is a consultant ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. As well as being a practicing comprehensive ophthalmologist, she has a particular interest in cataract, corneal, and refractive surgery.

In addition to the live webinar by Dr Gupta, SCCO will provide deliver a mix of educational content tailored for clinical optometry practice, including weekly live webinar presentations, panel discussions, on-demand video and more.

Specsavers optometrists will be able to access the SCC Online series directly through their Specsavers MyCPD portal.

Non-Specsavers optometrists can access the series by registering via the SCC Sign up page on the Spectrum-ANZ website.
