A three-day training course will be held in Manchester, UK from 15 to 17 August 2019 for overseas-qualified optometrists seeking to prepare for the OCANZ exams.
The Optometry Council of Australia and New Zealand (OCANZ) is an external agency that assesses optometry programs outside of the Australia and New Zealand region. Overseas-qualified optometrists must pass both the written and clinical OCANZ exams in order to practise in Australia or New Zealand.
Eyecare, a UK-based independent provider of Continuing Education and Training (CET) for the optical industry, is holding a three-day OCANZ Practical Preparation course in August. The course covers all information needed to prepare optometrists for both the written and clinical OCANZ exams, including practical training for the skills stations and patient examination that make up the clinical exams. The course’s practical content will be supported by short notes for each exam station, and participants will have the opportunity to discuss specific questions or concerns with tutors, past candidates and other delegates.
The course is approved for 21 interactive CET points.
