This week, Specsavers Audiology will screen its one-millionth Australian customer for hearing loss – an amazing milestone that we have achieved in just over three years of operation.
Since launching in Australia in late 2017, Specsavers Audiology has made waves in the Australian audiology market with open and transparent pricing, a wide range of products, and eye-opening value.
We’ve opened 171 locations across Australia, with over 100 audiology professionals joining us in partnership as owner-operators – and now together we’ve had the opportunity to screen one million Australians for hearing loss.
This accomplishment is a true testament to how Specsavers Audiology is committed to changing lives for the better.
By introducing hearing screening as part of the pre-test journey for optometry, we are raising hearing awareness, which means customers have access to hearing care earlier and we can start the conversation about hearing health when someone is in their 40s or 50s, or 60s.
By identifying hearing loss sooner, we can dramatically increase the number of people that do something about their hearing loss and help reduce the isolation, stigma, and mental health problems associated with undetected hearing loss.
Our ability to provide hearing care for so many Australians in such a short period of time is due to the dedication and hard work of our team and of course, our 100 audiology partners, who have embraced our model of hearing care and get up every day to support their customers on their journey to better hearing health.
