The Specsavers Clinical Conference will come full circle when it returns to Melbourne in 2017.
The inaugural Specsavers Clinical Conference (SCC) was held in 2012 in Melbourne, comprising a single-day conference attended by approximately 100 Specsavers optometrists.
After moving to Sydney and then to Brisbane, the annual event is now heading back to Melbourne, to be held from 2 to 3 September 2017 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Now in its sixth year, the SCC has become one of the largest professional development events in the local optometry calendar. Taking place over one and a half days, it will feature a host of optometry (Saturday) and ophthalmology (Sunday) experts for one of ANZ’s best-attended clinical conferences.
More than 500 delegates attended the SCC in Brisbane last year – including 80 non-Specsavers optometrists and 55 optometry students – and numbers are expected to rise further in 2017.
Early bird registration will open from early June 2017. For more information, email anz.scc@specsavers.com
