Australians have again acknowledged Specsavers’ high standard of customer service, with a popular vote conferring Specsavers the title of Optometrist Gold Winner in the Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards for the second year in a row.
The annual survey asked 1,500 Australians to nominate service providers across 40 categories for their excellent customer service. Companies were then ranked by how customers were made to feel during and after their service, and the simplicity of their customer journey. The highest rated companies were judged the Gold Standard Winner, with the next closest company awarded the Silver Standard Winner.
The Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards are held in both Australia and New Zealand, and in addition to the most recent 2019 Australian award win, Specsavers held the Gold Winner position in Australia and New Zealand in 2018, and in New Zealand in 2017.
“We’re delighted to have been recognised by the Australian public for the second consecutive year,” said Dominic Savill, Retail Director of Specsavers Australia & New Zealand. “Our patients and customers are always top of mind in everything we do at Specsavers – whether that be delivering high-quality eye care, providing great value eyewear, or facilitating a positive in-store or online experience.”
