Specsavers Audiology reached a significant milestone with the recent launch of its 50th business location at Specsavers Miranda, in Sydney’s southern suburbs.
The launch of the business, owned and operated by new audiology joint venture partner Nives Mikan, also marks another important milestone – Nives is the 30th audiology joint venture partner to join the growing Specsavers Audiology network. Nives will also own and operate the Specsavers Hurstville audiology business.
The milestones came just ahead of the first anniversary of Specsavers Audiology’s introduction into the Australian market on 29 August 2017.
Specsavers Audiology Executive Director Darrel Magna said he was thrilled to reach the milestone of 50 business locations.
“It is a significant event in our growth and evolution and says a great deal about our partnership model and how it is resonating with audiology professionals in Australia and, in turn, with Australians,” he said.
“Each audiology partner who has joined us, each audiology business that is now up and running owes so much to the hard work of passionate professionals who have committed themselves to making a change in this industry.
“With new stores opening every week, and with conversations with talented audiology professionals still taking place, I am looking forward to building further momentum in our rollout – and look forward to the day when we are operating in all Specsavers Australian stores.”
With almost 80 Specsavers Audiology locations now spoken for, Darrel said the future looked bright.
“To audiology professionals thinking about joining us and opening their own audiology business, I would say this: now’s the perfect time to talk to us,” he said.
“We have a tried and tested business model, we have a passionate group of joint venture partners and together there is a real sense that we are changing the industry for the better by offering affordable, high-quality products to those who need them, backed by great clinical service. And we also have a profit model that is delivering ahead of our original forecasts, which we are naturally delighted to report.
“Specsavers Audiology’s model is all about focussing on the customer and on the provision of clinical excellence rather than product-related KPIs. That’s resonating strongly. So, now is the time to get the conversation started about our mutual business opportunity and your preferred business location.”
