Specsavers has taken out the best customer service provider for the third year in a row at the recent Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards (QSA).

Specsavers was awarded the ‘Gold’ category for Optometry at both the Australian and New Zealand award ceremonies.

The QSA’s, which are now in their sixth consecutive year, recognise more than 40 outstanding businesses across a range of sectors including healthcare, retail, insurance and more, that consistently deliver outstanding customer service, and go above and beyond their customers’ expectations.

The results were based on two surveys of more than 2000 Australians and 1500 New Zealanders. In the initial survey, respondents were asked which companies they previously had experience with across 40 categories, to build a brand list reflective of today’s market. A second survey then asked them to nominate a service provider across each of the 40 categories. Data was then captured to establish which companies provide the highest levels of customer service.

Brendan Thompson, Specsavers Country Manager New Zealand, accepts the award.

Specsavers has continuously been named the best customer service provider in the optometry industry across Australia and New Zealand, taking out the award in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
