The intensive four-month program equips aspiring business owners with the knowledge and development they need to play a lead role in the future of Specsavers as joint venture partners.

My CPD Portal

The MyCPD portal is a virtual hub for optometrists that hosts live tracking of CPD hours and is home to a wide range of professional development resources and training. Currently, there are more than 50 CPD courses on the portal, covering a variety of topics including Glaucoma, AMD, Diabetes, Paediatrics, Refractive Error, Contact lenses, Anterior eye, Vitreoretinal and Posterior Eye.

Our Ophthalmologist Local Education and Engagement Program (OLEEP) is a collaboration between RANZCO and Specsavers, giving Specsavers optometrists the opportunity to attend a series of face-to-face CPD workshops delivered by local RANZCO ophthalmologists.

Specsavers Clinical Conference

Specsavers Clinical Conference (SCC) has become the highlight of the ANZ optometry professional development calendar.  In 2021, SCC went hybrid, with 12 interactive live webinars, including three live events delivered over a five-month period. A fantastic professional networking event as well as a key opportunity for optometrists to gain Australian CPD and New Zealand CD points. SCC continues to provide professional development opportunities delivered by renowned experts in the field of ophthalmology.
