The Specsavers Clinical Conference (SCC) is a premier two-day event dedicated to advancing eye health across Australia and New Zealand. It offers a dynamic program featuring:

As part of our commitment to supporting the next generation of optometrists, we are offering an exclusive opportunity for one student from each of our partner universities to attend SCC 2025 in Melbourne as our guest. This includes:
- Return flights
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Full access to the two-day conference
Eligible universities include:
Flinders University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Auckland, University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales, University of Canberra and the University of Western Australia.
If you’ve accepted an offer of employment with Specsavers, you’re eligible to enter the draw.
Terms and conditions
Specsavers Clinical Conference Competition runs from 12.01am July 1, 2025 until 11.59pm July 31, 2025. Entry is open to Final year Optometry Students from Flinders University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Auckland, University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales, University of Canberra, and the University of Western Australia that have accepted offers of employment from Specsavers by 31st July 2025. Limit of one entry per student. The prize pool consists of 7 all-expenses paid tickets to the 2025 SCC. Each prize includes return flights if required, accommodation, dinner and ticket to the 2025 SCC for the student. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. One winner will be selected from each university. The winners will be determined by Specsavers and each entry will be judged on its merit. The winners will be announced on the SCC website on August 1, 2025 and contacted via phone and email.
