Join our Wagga store on a permanent, full-time basis as their newest Optometrist!
- Salary Package: Salary of up to $130,000 + Super + $10,000 sign-on bonus + $5,000 relocation allowance
- Roster: You’ll enjoy a 5-day work week, which includes one weekend day, offering a great work-life balance and consistent schedule.
- Store Information: Our store underwent a full renovation last year, resulting in a spacious and modern environment with 7 fully equipped test rooms, 11 dispense desks, 3 pre-test rooms, and 2 dedicated visual field (VF) rooms. We are equipped with the latest technology, including a Humphrey Field Analyser III, Topographer, Auto-Phoropter, Auto-Refractor, Non-Contact Tonometry, Maddox Wing, Prism Bar, Alger Brush, Spot Screener, and a Portable Slit Lamp. Additionally, we are currently on the waiting list for an IPL/LLLT machine, further expanding our advanced capabilities.Our team consists of 7 optometrists, including 2 optometry partners and 5 graduate optometrists. We maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with 4 local resident ophthalmologists, and can arrange observation days if you’re interested in experiencing their daily practice.You’ll be supported by an experienced and qualified team, including 4 Cert IV Optical Dispensers and 3 in-store trainers. Our team members range in age from teenagers to their 60s, and we enjoy a friendly and social culture, with many of us spending time together outside of work.
- Patient Demographic: We work with a diverse and well-rounded patient base, ranging from school-aged children and teenagers, to local farmers, white-collar professionals, and retirees. This varied demographic provides an enriching clinical experience and the opportunity to work with a wide range of visual needs and ocular health conditions.The store also has a strong focus on specialty services, including Myopia Control, RGP Contact Lenses, and Orthokeratology, making it an excellent opportunity for an optometrist interested in expanding their clinical skills in these areas.
