Last chance to register – Ignite your optometry team before UIOLI!

23 September 2021

There has been nothing ordinary about the last 18 months. For our patients, access to care has been restricted across so many of our regions for prolonged periods of time. For you and your teams, professional and personal lives have been disrupted like never before.

Yet, we have seen over and over again the incredible care stories coming through of our optometrists being there for their communities in difficult times – saving sight and saving lives.

To build on this and ensure we are best placed to continue providing excellent patient care as we emerge into the busy UIOLI season and patients stream back into our clinics, invite your optometrists to join renowned speaker Lisa McInnes-Smith for a high-energy CPD session focused on building pride in our care and influencing your patients through empathy, compassion and trust.

In this 1-hour CPD session on Empowering Care, optometrists will learn strategies for how to take the lead in conversations with patients and be an advocate helping patients improve their eye health. Lisa will help optometrists communicate their expertise, build trust quickly with candour, and increase empathy and compassion without compromising service or care.

Your teams have done such an incredible job over the past 18 months, so now, before state lockdowns end and UIOLI is upon us, is the perfect time to fire up your optometry team and set them up with the strategies to be the best patient care advocates possible, improving conversion and MAZE, reducing customer churn and building pride in care.

Actions: Please ensure you block off an hour of your clinic at 4pm (AEST) on Wed 29 Sept, share this with your clinical team and ask every optometrist to register for this session via the MyCPD portal.

We hope to see you there!

For AU optometrists, this 1 hr interactive session can be counted towards
non-clinical CPD hours.

Lisa McInnes-Smith is in the top echelon of speakers on contagious influence and being a master of shifting behaviour. She has authored two bestselling books and has presented to over a million people across twenty-two countries.
