Specsavers Clinical Conference (SCC) is one of the largest eyecare conferences in Australia and a highlight of the ANZ optometry professional development calendar.
In 2023, SCC will be held as a hybrid event with a virtual component and an in-person event in Sydney on October 28-29.
SCC brings together a growing audience of optometrists and optometry professionals from across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on delivering continuous education and advanced clinical practice.
We’re also offering you have the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip* to SCC2023!
Optometry students that have accepted an offer for employment from Specsavers by September 1st will go into the draw to win an all-expenses paid trip to SCC.

Specsavers Clinical Conference Competition runs from 12.01am July 1, 2023 until 11.59pm August 31 , 2023. Entry is open to Optometry Students from Flinders University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Auckland, University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales and the University of Western Australia that have accepted offers of employment from Specsavers by 1 September 2023. Limit of one entry per student. The prize pool consists of 6 all-expenses paid tickets to the 2023 SCC. Each prize includes return flights if required, accommodation, dinner and ticket to the 2023 SCC for the student. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. One winner will be selected from each university. The winners will be determined by Specsavers and each entry will be judged on its merit. The winners will be announced on the SCC website on September 1, 2023 and contacted via phone and email.
